Although designed as an Asian American Leadership Series, this workshop is applicable to all individuals interested in leadership training.
The reality is Asian Americans are generally underrepresented in upper levels of management. Companies that provide leadership training for us are unable to contextualize the paradigms we face as highly educated and motivated leaders, rendering us ineffective and typically stuck below a perceived Asian career ceiling.
Though it may seem Asian career advancement has an upward barrier, when we take a deeper look at the relationships with our career stakeholders, the more accurate description is that traditional Asian culture in the American workplace creates a “Bamboo Box” around us.
Using practical and proven tools taught by Abraham Gin and Jim Lee, participants will have the ability to start “Breaking the Bamboo Box”.
